The 5KG Satellite Platform is a highly integrated microsatellite capable of carrying up to 2U (3 kilograms) of payload. Designed for low Earth orbit missions, it features a compact size, lightweight construction, and cost-effectiveness, making it ideal for missions prioritizing control requirements such as scientific experiments, payload verification, remote sensing, and communication.

Key Features:

  • High Integration:

The platform integrates a versatile onboard computer ensuring comprehensive satellite functionality. It includes reaction wheel control systems, magnetorquer control systems, a full satellite power distribution system, as well as magnetometers, and gyroscopes among other sensors.

  • Payload Capability:

Despite its small size, the satellite provides payload accommodation equivalent to 50% of its total volume, optimizing space utilization for mission-specific payloads.

  • Mission Versatility:

With a proven track record in orbit validation, the platform supports remote sensing missions with a resolution capability of 3.7 meters at 500 kilometers.
